Shipping & Delivery
We want every artwork to arrive safely and with as little hassle as possible. Shipping is coordinated by ARTDENTIFIED, with each work sent directly from the artist or, where possible, delivered locally by our team.
How your artwork is shipped
Artworks are shipped directly from the artist and carefully packed for safe transit. The artist is responsible for packing the artwork securely and in accordance with the shipping and packaging requirements provided by ARTDENTIFIED.
Depending on the size and requirements of the work, smaller artworks are shipped through our delivery partners, while larger, fragile or high-value works may be collected directly from the artist by a courier.
For selected orders in Copenhagen and the surrounding area, ARTDENTIFIED may arrange local delivery directly from the artist to the collector.
ARTDENTIFIED coordinates the shipping process and arranges the appropriate transport based on the artwork and destination.
Shipping insurance
Artworks are covered during transport arranged by ARTDENTIFIED in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant shipping and insurance provider.
This coverage applies while the artwork is being transported through the shipping solution arranged by ARTDENTIFIED. To ensure that the applicable transport coverage remains valid, artworks must be packed securely and in accordance with our packaging requirements.
If an artwork is damaged during transport, ARTDENTIFIED will coordinate the claim with the relevant shipping or insurance provider and assist the artist and collector throughout the process.
Delivery times
Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days within Denmark, 3–8 business days within the EU, and 5–15 business days for other EEA destinations.
Delivery times may vary depending on the artwork, artist location, destination and specific shipping requirements.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, fragility and packaging requirements of the artwork, as well as the artist’s location and delivery address.
The full shipping cost, including VAT where applicable, is always shown before you complete your purchase. Each shipping price includes a DKK 100 packaging fee per parcel, which covers the protective packing materials supplied for your artwork. For oversized, particularly fragile or high-value artworks, a custom shipping quote may be required.
Tracking
Once your artwork has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information where available.
For local deliveries arranged directly by ARTDENTIFIED, we will contact you to coordinate a suitable delivery time.
Where we ship
At launch, ARTDENTIFIED sells and ships to collectors within the EU/EEA.
Unless otherwise agreed for a particular artwork, your order will be delivered no later than 30 days after the order is placed.
Customs & import duties
Orders within the EU customs territory are delivered without customs charges. Orders to EEA countries outside the EU customs territory, including Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or handling fees.
Where applicable, these charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the artwork price or shipping cost.
Returns and delivery costs
If you exercise your 14-day right of withdrawal as a consumer, we refund the artwork amount, the ARTDENTIFIED buyer fee including VAT, and the standard outbound delivery cost you paid.
To ensure that the artwork is returned safely, all return transport must be coordinated through ARTDENTIFIED. We will arrange the appropriate return shipping and provide you with the necessary instructions.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of the return transport arranged by ARTDENTIFIED.

Damage in transit
If your artwork arrives damaged, please keep the original packaging, photograph both the packaging and the artwork, and contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery.
ARTDENTIFIED will coordinate the matter with the artist and the relevant shipping or insurance provider and arrange the appropriate next steps.
The request to report transport damage promptly is intended to allow us to document and process the claim efficiently and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
