Daniel Kjørup Rasmussen (b. 2006) is from Hillerød, Denmark, where he has recently been working with painting and film. He is currently presenting his exhibition Afselvisolering at Vandrehallen Kunsthal and is a student at Ærø Kunsthøjskole in 2026. His works stem from a desire to draw closer to the world and become part of it after having stood outside it for so long. Through a focus on the material and the physical, his layered works explore materiality and structure, bringing us closer to what we sense when we move out into the world.
