Simon Mercebach (b. 2005) is a Danish visual artist based between Trondheim, Norway, and Copenhagen, Denmark. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art. His practice is interested in how everyday experiences, objects and language can be transformed through art. Working across media, he allows the idea and process to determine the form of each work. His work often moves between the personal, the emotional and the everyday, while exploring how meaning and perception can be shaped through material, language, context and the encounter with the viewer.
