Simon Topsøe Bangsted (b. 1996) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark, and primarily works with painting. His practice is deeply inspired by nature, with trees appearing as a recurring motif throughout many of his works. He is drawn to the enduring energy of trees and the sense of persistence they embody. Through his work, Simon seeks to create small worlds of his own, which may feel more or less inviting than the one we know.
